Indonesian Fried Chicken.

I tried making Indonesian fried chicken and the result was awesome. I surprised even myself at the taste.

Here is the recipe for those of you who would like to try it out.

2 piece chicken thigh.
2 piece chicken drumstick.
2 table spoon turmeric powder.
2 table spoon coriander powder.
2 tea spoon garlic powder.
1 tea spoon cumin powder.
Some salt to taste.

Mix all the ingredient together and marinade for at least 4 hours. I marinaded mine for 24 hours.

Before frying, add the chicken into a pan on medium high heat. Add some water just enough to cook and shimmer the chicken in it. (not too much water or the taste will run). When chicken is about

Heat just enough oil to cover at least half of the chicken. When oil reaches optimum temperature place chicken in with the skin side down first. Fry for 5 minutes then turn to the other side and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Enjoy.

Next time I will show you people how to make the fried chicken that looks and taste better than KFC.

  2. Dude, not really a food blog. This is more of a blog on photography but I will occasionally write about food that I made. Good food like good music is to be shared and enjoyed by all.

    Thanks for the support.
