Nikon Vs Canon Part I

The war between this two super brand for camera have been going on for decades. And I am still torn between the two. Personally I prefer Nikon over Canon(Don't ask me why). Please bear in mind that the post is base entirely on my own point of view.

As I am still an amateur when it comes to photography, I wanted to get a mid range D-SLR that I can use for daily photography to practice and polish my skills. And when I am ready the make the jump to a high end professional D-SLR, I can just migrate over with my existing accessories and lens.

All Canon's D-SLR and lens are manufactured in Japan, thus my love for them. (I love Made In Japan). But sadly for me, only Nikon high end product are made in Japan. (D700 and up) and most of their lens are manufactured in Thailand. Most people will say that is doesn't matter, but it matters to me.

So without further adieu, these are the two models that I just can't seems to make up my mind on. The Nikon D90 and the Canon 50D.

Great places to get all your photography needs is from Adorama or Amazon if you are from the US or Canada. And if you are from the South East Asia, I would recommend then you pay ShaShinKi visit. They ship on the same day and normally your item will arrive in 3-4 days.

Update: Some items on Adorama ships for free to the US, and for the rest of the world, you can see how much the shipping fees will be when you want to check out your items. Happy shopping!!

Next post will be on Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II lens and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II.
